I started with photgraphy at age eleven, after being given my first camera (Agfa Click). By age twelve I was developing my own film and within a year started mixing my own formula developer. In my 20's I worked for two London Stock Libraries (both long defunct) shooting travel images for advertising, travel brochures and TV backdrops. After several thousand publications I lost all interest in photography, since my hobby had turned into a job. Several decades later I returned to my once love, after discovering the advances that digital equipment had made, which made the darkroom obselete. Now I shoot purely for my own pleasure, without any of the commercial pressures and once again I enjoy the realisation of images which crowd my wakeing hours.
