My rule is "to choose what it shows". Not trying to control but to flow, not aiming to change but depict. Enthusiasm is the best advisor, if you develop the ability to reduce the volume of your mental noise and hear the whispers of your muses… that little voice indicates precisely where the story is unfolding.
