Photo Print: Stick Around by Paulo Abrantes

This is a picture made in Oporto City, Portugal, in the old part of city, near the river. It΄s a very well known narrow pedestrail alley and stairs that links the riverside of the Douro river to the upper center town, near D. Luis Bridge. The name of this stairs is "Codessal Stairs" and I was descending to the riverside to shoot there, at the end of the day, when suddenly this scene came up in front of my eyes. The wild cat was waiting for the daily food doses in front of that door, just because the owner of the house use to do so and there was another woman climbing the stairs. It was all very fast because this composition came up to mind right away and the woman climbing was almost going out of the frame range. I only made 2 shots in a few seconds before the "moment" was gone, and this is the one I liked more, just because of th placement of the woman.
